the leather leggings

faux leather leggings are definitely a favored winter staple in my closet, but achieving the look and feel of leather sans the high price tag? i've tried several decently priced pairs including these blank denim brand, but after busting two pairs pulling up by the bet loop i've given up (i know the directions say 'do not pull by bet loop,' but seriously isn't it just second hand nature to give them a tug?). these aritizia leather pants are hands down THE best faux leather leggings i've come across. they've got the look and feel of soft leather, about as comfortable to wear as your pjs, and the price is right on the mark. i paired these beauties with a slouchy sweater and flats for some christmas decoration gazing downtown and threw on some heeled booties for dinner at night!

twilight at the presidio

if this picture doesn't make you want to check out off the grid, idk what will.  yet another installment of otg is their wednesday night twilight at the presidio, a great mid-week outing if you're not too scared to brave the presidio fog and food truck lines. you can expect lamp lit tents, fire pits, and lawn chairs all provided by otg, plus wagon wheeled bar carts, live music and an array of the city's finest gourmet food trucks.  if you want to score a coveted tent or fire pit, be sure to get there early, it's first come, first serve!
