simplest trend of the season is easily black and white.  my black and white ensemble, a silk top tucked into striped shorts, felt a little dull so i paired it with a bold mint clutch and low ankle strap heels to dress it up just a touch (don't mind the rocksbox cuff i added in there too!)... pretty much covers all the trend bases and i'm ready to go for a daytime cocktail hour!
