i'm trying to step up my weekend game from my usual distressed slash boyfriend denim wear... i love these comfortable and sleek wax-coated pants; as comfortable as leggings with an edge that can pass for day or night wear depending on how you dress it. i added these nude flats and striped cotton top from jcrew for a casual prep element. plus the light long sleeve and pants are perfect for this not too hot, not quite cold november weather we're experiencing (indian summer come back!).

although distressed denim does not scream office appropriate, adding a sharp blazer and heels can dress up almost any bottoms for work wear. from friday in the office to happy hour with the girls, this combo with a  cute silk top is the exact look i need to feel great at work and out into the night.
