holidays in jcrew + jcrew factory

spending this holiday in a lot of shimmer and shine with classic pieces from jcrew and jcrew factory. this brocade skirt is a stunner on it's own with its gorgeous green floral print so i paired it with a neutral dark navy sweater, a pop or plaid collar and silver pumps.  the everly silver pump has easily become my new favorite neutral- they go with anything from boyfriend jeans, to tailored skinnies or a flared skirt for a little dress up.

tree time

i love when the city transforms for the holidays, glittering lights covering trees and houses alike all over the downtown streets and boutique tree lots on corners all over the city.  we picked up a tree and squeezed it into our apt living room this week. decked out with tiny bulbs and walgreens finest decor, it's officially safe to say the holidays have arrived.
