already less than a month till the baby is due, this past weekend i was so excited to help my sister and her husband with a maternity photo shoot. it was such a cool experience capturing this special time in their lives and we had a ton of fun trying out different props and using the naturally awesome backdrop the city views allow us (alcatraz, gg bridge and palace of fine arts included!). below are a few of my favorites from the day, and the only bummer with the selection? some special photos i purposefully left out that featured the baby's name (still to remain a secret!) we had written on chalkboard and in the sand!

also this weekend i'll be headed down to carmel for a relaxing weekend with friends from the city. i was way too excited to pack for this trip, it feels like ages since i've been able to pack swimsuits, shorts and other warm weather favorites... fingers crossed for lots of sunshine and beach time!
