denim layers + pink blazer

last saturday the roommate and i took a nice walk through pac heights on our way to fillmore street for brunch. the hills are high and the views are incredible (check out alcatraz in the back!); i couldn't resist snapping a few shots on they way!  i chose this cozy and colorful denim and blazer ensemble; these light layers are perfect for the sunny sf weather plus i love dressing up the casual feel of the distressed jeans with the collared top, blazer and stand out jewels.

we had brunch at one of my favorite spots on fillmore street, elite cafe.  it has a unique take on some classic new orleans dishes and flavors. their biscuits with whipped strawberry butter are a must try!

cinnamon&sugar mini donuts + coffee (*drool*)

seafood benedict: a twist on the classic, replacing ham with loads of fresh crab shrimp and scallops! amazing.

my guy's brunch of bacon scramble, biscuits and gravy finished with a side of their house special baked mashed potatoes
