i love the idea of creating a monochromatic look by pairing pieces of similar tones with different shades and textures. the high waist and a-line cut of this alice + olivia skirt adds volume, while the mesh pattern adds a contrast to the silky top. to further avoid going solid gold, i added nude heels, pearls and pink accents to the mix.
