i left the city behind for the week and headed down south to celebrate two very special birthdays. the first stop: palos verdes to celebrate the mom's 65th birthday! styled for a celebratory dinner out, with the backyard as our backdrop the birthday girl took a shot at photographer and I took a shot at my first red lip plus some new fall closet additions.

while perusing my mom's makeup stash i discovered this amazing mac lipstick. it inspired me to add a pop of color to spice up this black and champagne combo.
